Flolumia was born out of pure love and passion for people to feel and look their best. Flolumia is the brainchild of Flora, a huge believer that healthy skin breeds confidence and brings the utmost joy when people feel good about themselves. As a woman of colour, Flora used to be very unsatisfied with her skin as a result of hyperpigmentation and acne scars. On the quest for better skin, she started reading books on cosmeceuticals and enrolled in natural cosmetic formulation courses. She didn't want to go the route of her products being made with just random ingredients put into a jar in the lab. Flora wanted to be very sure of what went into her skincare, as she is very particular about what she puts on her skin, hence why she started her own brand. "I believe that whatever we put on our skin gets absorbed into the bloodstream", says Flora
